I tested it by getting into a cutscene while I was loading (which gave me anxiety) and to my surprise, the trade happened DURING my cutscene and the animation played a few seconds after. I also got to see that the regional language entries for foreign pokemon still happens. There's no reason to think game freak would cut that, except for the reason "game freak just cuts shit sometimes shrug" So hurrah for game freak meeting expectations, heck in terms of the mystery trade, exceeding expectations. hurrah low expectations. --- wird ...
