He did his best, he really did. Rainbow had a surprisingly good opening, one that really stood out to me for years, even after watching it. It bounced around my list quite a bit before solidifying in the 25-30 range, and I think it's a good place for it. It hits hard with the screamo, but the melody is really nice, and seeing how the characters change from what they are in the beginning to what they are as grownups is done really well through liberal use of flashbacks. All in all, it's really cool, and I will fight anyone who hates that shot of the bird on the barbed wire fence. --- Spare me your obsolete empathy The voice of sympathy means nothing to me ...
