Spoiler warning for all chapters as I go from this point out.

Im playing this blind and it was a really cool moment finally getting to the mirror, and everything that happened following that. Knowing nothing about this games narrative coming in made this chapter a cool experience. Most of my deaths came during the sequence where you have to escape from what Ill call some of Madelines inner demons. I didnt feel compelled to worry about damn strawberries while I was being chased by Dark Madelines.

During the first part before interacting with the mirror, I really scratched my head trying to figure out how I could get through the stuff that changes consistency once you interact with the mirror. In chapter one I didnt really interact much with the green gems that recharge your dash, so I didnt even realize thats what they do. Obviously they became very necessary here!

I got a partial answer to my question of why Madeline is climbing the mountain- shes trying to prove something to herself. Madelines mom referring to panic attacks made me think of anxiety, naturally, but Im left wondering if (and assuming yes) theres more to Madelines story.

I enjoyed my interactions with Theo and exhausted conversation with him before completing the chapter. The letters of the memorial being scattered made a lot more sense once Madeline woke up. I was a bit proud of locating the crystal heart, but I couldnt figure out how to get it. I saw nowhere near 17 other strawberries, so Ill have a lot of searching to do when I revisit chapter 2.
