| paulg235 01/04/20 2:56:04 PM #396: | The one arguably good thing about the Fiend character is the fact that it's giving everyone he faces a fresh creative take that rejuvenates their characters. Balor's character since vacating the Universal belt was bad and one-deminsional, so him turning and ditching that gimmick is already the most interesting he's been in years. Rollins was not coming off well as the top face of the RAW brand, so the direction he has gone since Survivor Series is also welcomed. And honestly, The Miz's Face run was a disaster the moment Shane pinned him at Mania. It is clear that they have no intention of pushing him as a main eventer and him losing to Funhouse Bray Wyatt killed off any credibility he might have had as a babyface. I would actually like to see whoever Wyatt faces at EC/Fast Lane try to rationalise why all his opponents have changed and how it had nothing to do with Wyatt himself and it was just a coincidence that they suddenly having these character changes after facing him, to try to undersell the danger of the Fiend. Then he obviously loses at the PPV and the next week he turns/reverts to a old gimmick too. --- PaulG235 | "But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."
