He used to get his ass whipped so hard he said he would wear extra pairs of underwear to soften the blows from the belt. He said he didn't want to do that to his kids, ever. He made us write "I will not _______________" hundreds of times or took my video games away for a duration of time depending on the offense, but he was the kind of parent I respected so much that I never really wanted to disappoint him. Same with my mom, whose brothers received the same punishment as my dad. --- Working in a team is great!
