| ThyCorndog 12/30/19 2:26:24 PM #42: | they're a minority in every country they're in (besides israel) and they stand out, because they tended to not assimilate. it's like how people hate minorities in western countries that stand out and don't assimilate. jews tended to form little communities within larger ones and when things go wrong, the majority found an easy scapegoat in the form of jews. they've also been around for a long time and have been in many different countries over the past few millenia, giving them a longer and broader exposure to harassment and oppression. there's some religious aspect to it as well, but I don't think it's as major as much as them just being different --- ...
