Topic	I think I'll have to change the way I play games
Punnyz 12/29/19 10:16:37 PM #1:	Everyone knows Ol Punny was poor (hell still is) so when we had games, we were thankful. We played the shit out of them, who the hell knew when we were gonna get another one. My brother had a side job and he bought Kirby's Adventure for the family and I actually remember making it a mission to find every secret. I remember that was my first 100%. This influenced how I played games from then on, always get everything. buuuuut, I guess I can't apply this mentality anymore I'm an adult, I either am too tired from real life, or just don't have any time at all to do this This is why I picked up Overwatch and why I ran with it so much. Its either to get a few matches in and it'll be like 10-20 minutes tops. But I've always felt Overwatch is a bit destructive. Its a time sink, the time I'm wasting isn't going towards anything. Its not going towards a goal, its not going towards an ending, nada. Its just online matches I tried playing Fire Emblem and I remember a b8er described everybody that tries that game eventually gets "paralyzed". They're overwhelmed by all of the shit thats in it. The marriages, supports, the BREEDING, etc. Happened to me. I tried playing DQVIII. This might be another issue entirely, but I grinded the FUCK out of that game. My guys were pretty cool and I had all of the best gear. I got burned out. So my grinding was for nothing. I think I ALSO got "paralyzed" because I put too much pressure on myself when it comes to them learning abilities and weapon specialties. and Digimon I tried filling out my pokedex and got burned out again So I think from now on, I'm gonna have to force myself to like...not care? Just play the game. I'm also a person that is obsessive over missable shit. So I know this is gonna be hard, and I also know forcing yourself TOO hard its gonna result in the same thing but I dunno man.
