This entire trilogy was one of the most unnecessary, poorly written, poorly planned out clusterfucks I have ever seen. You can always make the argument "everything is to make money" and sure, that's true. But the original trilogy made money because it was inspired. And as much as people hate the prequels, Lucas still had his vision and inspiration that he was attempting to put on the screen. If i had any inkling that there was ANY real inspiration for these movies I'd be a whole lot less critical. But there wasn't. The Rise of Skywalker was the most disingenuous cash-grab period.
Another thing, if they actually made good SW movies they would make even more money so its pretty stupid to be lazy and make money instead of make a good movie and make even more
