That invalidated Anakin's redemption and sacrifice in RotJ by doing that. And Rey is still a godawful boring character. Kylo Ren was probably the only new character I liked in this whole trilogy. Phasma could've been too but sadly they killed her off before she really could do anything memorable. Even though it was a repeated line from the Emperor in RotS, "The Dark Side is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural." was cool as heck to hear again. It was a decent film but it could've been so much worse. But that's the problem: something as big as Star Wars should be fucking amazing. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
