I appreciate that they didn't even add in a lead to "replace" the vocals, and let it be just an instrumental. Especially the heavy impact of all the synth drums, I love those especially, but when the pad backing comes in at 0:52 is also really, really cool! Jesus christ is that bass GOOD it bounces in the bottom of my stomach and off the walls of my body and makes me physically bounce every time I listen to it, it's just really, really fun to listen to! - EX4: Sonic Mania - Hi-Spec Robo Go! - Hard Boiled Heavy Boss Composer: Tee Lopes Score: 97/100 (9.0), ~3rd place of 174 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uK6uFp7x_4 this song. is. RIDICULOUS. give me anything thats up tempo and jazzy and boss-like and it's very unlikely I find it less than stellar and I think song proves it to me lmfao. And then you add HEAVY VOCAL SAMPLING like hello tee lopes???? thank you??????? the bridge at 0:40 absolutely slaps theres so much going on for what is effectively supposed to be "downtime" and just holy what theres so much looooooool. every part of this song oozes fun and yeah its just an absolute bop in every sense - EX5: Knuckles' Chaotix - Moonrise Composer: Junko Shiratsu Score: 69/100 (7.2), ~47th place of 174 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3R4tqOpVto Uh huh 32X percussion-laden chill song ranking high who woulda thought after I mentioned loving those drums in like every previous Chaotix write up?
