It's the fact that the entire fall of Anakin hinges on the idea that he wants to stop his loved ones from dying. Can he learn such a power? "Not from a Jedi." That is to say, if this power exists, the entirety of Darth Vader as a character doesn't make sense. Then Rey stops Ben from dying. Then Ben stops Rey from dying.
