But the way GFL's resource system works, it's much easier to stock up for a massive amount of pulls than other gacha games. So even if the rates are slightly lower, the fact that you get far more pulls in GFL balances it out. On top of that, the only time-limited characters in GFL are earned through drops. Most other gacha games have characters that are only around for a short time, so you're pressured by the threat of never being able to get them again into spending more money to get them while you can. GFL doesn't do that. Any character in the production pool will always be there.

That's why I said "it's fair enough, all things considered." In Azur Lane, Cubes and Coins, what you use to build ships, are easily farmable for lots of pulls too but you get more than double the rates for rares compared to GFL. That's why I used that game as an example of "generous," as it goes a step beyond being merely "fair." All in all, I like both games and think they each have their own unique merits.

On the flip side though, most gacha games have some sort of pity system where, after a certain number of pulls, you're guaranteed a pull of the highest rarity. GFL doesn't have anything like that, so it's always possible that you could fail to pull what you want, no matter how many pulls you save up.

In one of the QnA sessions, the Sunborn representative said that there is a pity system in place but wasn't allowed to say any more on it. So we know that there is one in the game but there are no details on how it works.

That is one thing I really like about this game: the community outreach in the monthly QnA sessions. The rep can't divulge much but you can get useful hints and morsels of info about what's likely coming soon.
