Started using the library for the first time in like 15 years recently when I found out that they have new release DVDs & BluRays.

Libraries lend all kinds of stuff besides just books. Depending on your local library, of course, you can get fishing poles, tools, musical instruments, cookware, tennis rackets, basketballs, record players, small appliances, 3D printers, toys, cameras, sewing machines, telescopes, bicycles, projectors, and more.

It totally blew my mind the first time I went to the Plattsmouth Public Library and saw an entire shelf full of cake pans.

Many libraries offer digital books in addition to print. You sign up online, usually with a service like Overdrive (https://www.overdrive.com/) and enter your library card ID. Then you can check out books using apps like Libby or Sora, as well as the Amazon Kindle, NOOK, or Kobo ereaders.
