Topic	Badass action female, who comes to mind first?

I find it odd that the movie most people credit Sigourney Weaver for being the badass action chick in, Aliens, is the one movie in the entire series where she was presented as softer and more motherly female character - she was explicitly juxtaposed against the actual action female of the movie, Jenette Goldsteins Private Vasquez. Honestly, the motherly angle just makes it better.
