She has every right to be pissed off at him, and even to seek damages over this. I mean, does she really have a right to damages? Aside from her husband, exactly how likely is it the dog is going to hear "Gas the Jews" on a regular basis. Also, side story, in WWII a man taught his dog to do the Nazi salute to the phrase either "Heil Hitler" or "Seig Heil", I forget which and it doesn't matter. The Nazi authorities took it as mockery and were pissed.
