Maybe I just don't like "realistic" games, I don't know and I don't particularly care, I'll just stick to my wacky woohoo power fantasies, thank you kindly. Kind of a similar reason for why I'll never get into Soulsborne or the new God of War, they're just not my preferred blend of action game. Why should I settle for either of these when DMC 5 exists? Also for Soulsborne, not being able to pause is a major deal breaker for me. If a game doesn't respect my real world obligations, then I don't necessarily see that as an endearing trait. --- ...
