The mid-90s were not the best of times. I had moved from the suburbs to the country and I did not like it. Not. One. Bit.

Movies were trash. The reason dark and edgy became a thing in the 2000s was because of burnout of cool 90s movies of diminishing quality.

Video games were transitioning from kinda 3D to full fledged 3D.

Wrestling was at an all-time low. Wrestling garbage men, Dungeon of Doom, evil hockey player, etc.

James Bond was making a triumphant comeback.

Adam Sandler was funny back then.

Superhero cartoons were fun. You had Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man all at the same time. I was also super fucking addicted to the short-lived Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad.

Backward baseball caps. We're not gonna let you forget about that one. And totally rebellious folded arms. I fold my arms in the direction of your authority 'cause I'm the hip youth. (Tell me I'm cool. Please tell me I'm cool.)

The music was catchy, but I've forgotten most of it. There are few songs that make me think, "That was a mid-90s song."

SURGE!!

Those are my mid-90s memories. I was a kid back then.
