If you think consciousness/sentience continues after you die, then we hit a wall where we just disagree. Because everything we know tells us our sentience is in our brains. And yeah, it is sad to imagine that we die and this is all we have. If there IS consciousness after we die, it could be great bonus. But there's no reason to think there is, so I just try to make the best of the life I know I have. I'm not mad at how you feel. I just feel like you're treating me like I have an ignorance that I don't. We're arguing about different points. I agree with everything you're saying. I'm just saying, the difference is the awareness you have when entering that state from a point of prior existence. Really, there is no reason to further this conversation.
