Hunters are a joke, grenades are incredibly powerful, and the best weapon in the game (the plasma pistol) drops frequently from enemies. But Halo 1 is actually pretty damn difficult on Legendary. Second only to Halo 2 in my opinion. The enemy AI is really good.
