Fortunately I had a Ghost so I did have the luxury of bypassing any fight I couldn't win. Halo 2 is also the odd game in the bunch where co-op is actually more difficult than playing solo. It was for me at least. Iron Skull is on by default in Halo 2 Legendary co-op.
