Ooh, there's gonna be a new Bioshock. It's being done by a new studio, but it's got people who worked on the previous games. I doubt it's gonna be much better than the old games, especially since Ken Levine is no longer involved. He's working at his own studio. It's still years away, according to 2K.

I hope it doesn't keep Infinite's two-weapon limit. It was stupid, and the return of the traditional weapon wheel was one of the DLC's selling points. And I'd love to see the return of researching to get special equippable and passive bonuses. Maybe even researching items to get some more use out of them, like in System Shock. Oh, and something I really don't want to see is a tower defense section, like from the end of Infinite.

And I wonder what the environment would be. Rapture and Columbia were in the sea and sky, both places that isolated you from the outside world and where you'd be royally fucked if an important piece of machinery were broken or sabotaged. The only environments that could do something similar are space and underground. I always thought underground would be the better choice. There's potential for some good dark, claustrophobic atmosphere, cave-ins, veins of toxic gas, and there would be a practical reason for the big daddy equivalents to have drills.
