It would make a lot of sense. There's a lot of focus on the monetary cost to get an education, but the time cost for many is far worse. Starting a new career means dedicating years to it, so you don't have near as much time to work. Raising minimum wage doesn't help when it'd so easy for so many minimum wage jobs to replace workers with automation. It could also mean reworking laws regarding interns from the ground up to be more useful than exploitative? With UBI you'd be getting enough money to be able to go towards your dream career. It would mean getting much higher quality teachers, scientists, engineers, etc etc. UBI is probably the biggest single improvement we can make to better society.
