It's a very boring game, indeed. Unlocked the ability to call a dino mount out of nowhere ASAP to help. And looked up the ingredients for the infinite fast travel pack so I could buy one ASAP as well. But the loading times are just awful too, makes me laugh at how I hated BotW's, which were nothing in comparison.

The world is pretty uninteresting, too. Tried exploring it, but eventually found there was no point vs. riding around on my dino mount brushing past the campfires to discover them, then fast travel back when needed for a quest or the like.

And god, the indoor sections w/ all the exposition dumped on you by audio/video logs, and crawling at a snail's pace w/ the focus on to find them... Plus the camera and map sucked indoors. And they just go full ham on you at the end w/ those awful indoor sections.

I pushed myself to finish the story, and had no desire to ever touch the game again afterwards. Of course, the story starts off promising but just gets more terrible the further you go, to the point where at the end you think the writers must take the players for idiots if they think what they wrote was plausible or sensible.
Yes, I mean the part where Ted Faro cuts off the air to all the survivors' team b/c why not have such a button accessible from a different location, when your enemies are robots who don't need to breathe?

The final chapter was actually a bit fun at least, because it completely threw away the gameplay of the previous 99% of the game and just had you mowing shit down w/ a machine gun.
