nope. i very much enjoy my iphone (made possible only through capitalism) and going to bed with a full belly.

Lol

Smart phones were only possible with the help of government funded tech research and with the amount of homebrew development that's been around for the past decade capitalism wouldnt have made a big difference

the iphone is a commodity, it exists within capitalism, it was made through the capitalist mode of production.

where do you think THIS govt gets their money to fund research? thats right through capitalism.

it was made by workers, who existed in pre-capitalist modes of production and will continue to exist post-capitalism

labor is a part of every society, labor created the parts but the idea, the branding, the commodity, the economic powerhouse that is the apple iphone exists only in a capitalist society.

the iphone could not exist anywhere else

but something functionally very similar could be made in a socialist society

the biggest difference would be that the creation of such goods would be based on human use rather than profit, resulting in less of the planned obsolescence that apple makes so much of their profit from.

so essentially, this hypothetical smartphone in a socialist society would probably be significantly easier to repair, and the necessary replacement parts would probably be available for significantly longer. the charging cables probably wouldn't change arbitrarily either
