MH World started development around when MH4 released and they still released 4 Ultimate, Generations and Generations Ultimate in that period. It runs on a different engine then previous MH and is a very demanding game technically. Not just in raw graphics but in A.I/Overhead. They have the capability to release some MH on Switch while also developing Monster Hunter World 2 for PS5/Scarlett/PC. It would be foolish not to. Generations Ultimate on Switch did well over a million(about 1.4-1.5 million) on Switch despite being a late port of a game already released on 3DS (in japan) and an enhanced version of a recent game at that. An Original MH on Switch could do 3 times that easily.
