But we aren't talking about events or reconnecting with an old friend. We are talking about family and current friends. You're still suggesting that they don't have their phone number (if a family member or friend gets a new number and doesn't tell you, you may have to reevaluate that relationship) and only communicate through Facebook/instragram, which is 99.9% highly unlikely. My best friend is constantly without a phone.
