If it's the Wild Area and Raids etc, then sure I guess. Those can be fun if that's your thing.

Wild area's okay, but raids are super fun, yeah. It actually gives me something to build up Pokemon for and do when the game is over, and it's something I can do with other people, which is neat.

If it's the story / plot then I just don't really understand because there isn't one.

If it's just the gyms as a whole where you do a little mission then fight in front of a crowd... then uh... I guess if that's what really excites you...

I do wish there was more of a story, but I also love the primary objective being the gyms and how the game makes them feel like such a big deal. All the previous games basically made them feel like an afterthought while you controlled the ONE TRUE CHILD that was picked by God to stop Evil Team #74 from whatever barely explained scheme they're trying to get away with. Now, am I saying I want this every time? Outside of making the gyms actually feel important, no. But the traditional Pokemon story has been done to death so many times that I don't really miss it, and favor this approach this one time, even if I think it could have been better. Your main motivation being "Yo, I just wanna win" and the whole celebrity factor of it is refreshing.
