NYC prices?not far off actually lol only slightly exaggerated. the rent is only true if you're trying to rent in manhattan or certain rich areas. otherwise you can get a place for like $1500 or $2000 a month (still expensive compared to the midwest/south etc) lunch is easily $20 if you order an appetizer + entree and a drink at an actual restaurant. it's usually like $10 if you just order one small thing for yourself. i'm not counting fast food places cause those are obviously cheap coffee can be like $8 if you get a giant special drink. you can just get a normal coffee for like $2 --- ...
