| Kayiel 11/17/19 3:03:39 PM #155: | So, Lauren Faust commented on the Pony Life teaser, saying that in her development notes Pinkie "wasn't to be a cuckoo-bird" (paraphrasing the rude term). However, from first glance, it sounds like that was a decision on her end and that she wanted Pinkie to be toned down for them. She later replied that Hasbro (and Studio B at the time) gave her that note to stick with the "family-friendly" image. Remember, this was when the show had the "e/i" logo. So in accordance with her original vision, Faust wanted Pinkie to be off-the-walls crazy.
