This topic is weird but all Im gonna say is the new dispute system doesnt mean shit when most of the mods can just discuss things on a Discord server anyway. Its just a more streamlined way for them to avoid accountability. Site activity is dwindling - do you really think theyre gonna start holding mods to stricter standards?

But also who really cares its a message board lmao.

@FursonaNonGrata I have noticed a steady decline in moderator activity quality, starting 4-ish months ago.

In the past they'd pretend to be unbiased and/or act like professionals. Now you see them openly and unequivocally antagonize users they don't like, they make fun of people raising concern in hellhole, gang on users (e.g. you speak up in hellhole and 4+ mods go like "TROLOLOLOLLO U MAD BRO?!") and worst of all, they don't follow the TOS when moderating posts, you may get a moderation for no reason, that gets no justification when appealing. "I like pepsi more than coke" can be a reasoning that a mod used to moderate someone.

What I wonder if is they stopped trying to look professional because they know they can get away with it, or because the site is dying, what do you think?

When one of the most active groups of users is made up of people who regularly contact mods through off-site channels to get other users modded/warned/suspended so they can post about it, I think a strong argument can be made for it being both of those things.
