Good thing the original mod can't vote on their own dispute. nobody believes you even if true, imagine this scenario (names changed for anonymity purposes): WarnedGeneralRocks(M): Moderates Muffins for being muffins - Muffins appeals - GuyWhoUsedToPostInWarnedGeneral(M): votes to uphold TrumpSucksBernieRocks(M) : votes to uphold I mean, they don't even have to discuss if the moderation was fair or called for. 2 guys can uphold based on whether they user is part of an "enemy clique" or not.
