Nah I am for sure. They have some materials contributed but it doesnt seem like I'm getting anyone going out of their way for them. And I think some are in optional network areas too.

Thanks to ninkendo and Waluigi, I'll probably indeed pick up the game, though I didn't know about this online stuff...

Absolutely do not reccomend trying to play this without the online. It's something that's always on in the background and you don't interact directly with others, but you can see their buildings and it's a big deal. Think Dark Souls but less direct.
