The n word is no excuse. The fact is that it doesn't matter how much a beating another person deserves. The law is very clear on assault. And if only words are thrown and you react with violence, you fucked up and the other person won. I've been hit with shit all my life, including being called slurs from shit I'm not even just because I have the same skin color. Been mistaken for an Arab or just called Mexican because I'm Hispanic or called things just by being around black people or South Asian people. I just shrug knowing they're unintelligent and keep going on with my life. I would never attract the attention of cops, because they're gonna fuck you even worse than whatever words were slung at you.
