Fingertip curve.

This is purely for recreation and I doubt I'll ever have more than 1 ball. My friend has bowled his whole life and he is helping me.

Currently looking at the Colombia chaos ball.

Look at videos of the balls and what they do:

It also depends on which type of hook you have, with stroker, tweener, power stroker, and cranker. I am a tweener (with low revolutions and high angle). Fingertip for me, and all weigh 15 pounds (which is the de-facto default). No need to have measurements on my fingers anymore since it's all saved in the system, meaning that I can buy a ball with the exact same span for the holes and exactly where I need it to keep a tweener hook.
There are the four balls that I own (minus the plastic ball used for spares on the right side of the lane).
