I guess some people just prefer melodrama and whooshcrikey explosions to plot and chstacter Walt's doublelife, decent to hell, motivations etc are all fascinating ~~Gus and his super lab empire and Skyler and the car wash and employing pick pockets and Bill Burr to pull stunts and ricin tricks ...~~ I mean it's good TV but all if the grounding in reality, all the patience, half of the character arcs are all gone. Buffy the Vampire Slayer could walk into season 3,4 or 5 and not be out of place. To me the series lost something there.
