| Topic | A few more days to go until I move into my new apartment |
| Entity13 11/06/19 2:07:43 AM #1: | November 11 is my move-in date. The lease was signed digitally, I have the whole amount written down for the reduced first month's rent and remainder of my security deposit, and a bunch of things are ready to go. I still need to see about getting Internet set up at the new place, which is.... Eww Comcast. I also still need bookcases and DVD racks since the other furniture is basically good to go. It'll be nice being somewhere about 17-20 minutes walk from work. It is also such a short distance from other stores I frequent. To think; six months ago, my life was falling apart fast. Now I owe my folks, which I wanted to avoid, but I am getting life back together in a much better environment than that forsaken desert I had grown up in. Gods, it would be nice if I didn't owe them anything already, if I could also pay back my boyfriend for the favor he gave back in early May, and if I didn't have to hassle around with Comcast. Too bad my first published book hasn't sold in the thousands or close yet, or things would be looking a bit better already. <_< --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
