Simply not sharing details about yourself is not deception. If someone asks and you lie, that would be. If he didn't put on a condom and she never asked, it wouldn't be rape. It is rape because he tricked her into thinking he would be wearing a condom. Not the same situation at all. Though, I am not surprised that these sort of posters brought their transphobia into the topic.

The idea is that a transwoman who presents herself as a woman is committing rape by deception if she doesn't disclose her trans status, because men probably wouldn't consent to sex with her if they knew beforehand. The arguable deception being that she is a typical woman instead of a transwoman.

And the first mention of this in this topic was in the Rape by Deception article being tossed around by several posters in this topic who were using it like it wins their argument for them.

Not the same case at all. You infer that a transwoman is cis. She is under no obligation to share her status with you unless you ask. If you ask and she lies, then it becomes deception. This guy explicitly tricked the woman into thinking he was wearing a condom. It wasn't simply taken for granted by her.
