Every year, bosses thought it would be great to blare the music to "cheer people up" even though every year, it never worked. This year might be different, even though it pisses everyone off! A few local businesses and stores typically already have their music on one of those stations, never bothering to change the station. You know they type of station: called lite rock but there's nothing they play that's rock. Certain top 40 hits are on heavy rotation, even though they already peaked months ago.
