You can be a in a pool for hours, and you can do a lot more in a pool (games, diving, swimming, etc) as opposed to just sitting. Hmmm... arhat is a good point. I guess since Im not a strong swimmer, I dont play as hard. But I do like relaxing. And hot tubs are good for that for me. Not to say you cant relax in a pool. That being said, I think hot tubs are used more year round. Like, pools are use for only the summer, AFAIK. But hot tubs are use for both the summer and winter.
