I feel like its harder to build a team this year than previous years. Previously you could activate a whole bunch of those 1000 coin boosts. They took those out.

But they replaced them with way more objectives where you can potentially get rewarded packs. I've been packing jack shit until yday, I got some 5-15k players like Benzema, UCL Lukaku, I got a couple Azpilucuetas, etc. I had about 80k laying around. I actually picked up scream Pique with the intention of building my team around him:

Pretty beast card. I intend to pair him up with Ramos but he's like 180k and I'm at basically nothing. For my attackers I'm okay with going cheap bargain players for now like Inaki Williams. Defense keeps me in matches with anyone. And although I like to build defense first, I think I want to target Kroos and James in my midfield. I use my midfielders far more than anyone else.

But one thing I'm realizing is that some of their SBCs aren't that bad. Their halloween ones were very cheap and easy and they each got you prime mixed players and prime electrum players. I need to keep doing easy ones and maybe target icon swaps next month.
