Topic	I absolutely HATE the pet worshipping culture

Like, my parents have a cat that I absolutely adore (I mean, I lived with her for a good ten-eleven years before I moved out) and my friends have great cats and a dog too so Im not an animal hater or anything. I just dont see the appeal. Theyre expensive as hell, if you want to go on a trip you have to make sure its taken care of, theyre messy etc. Ive just never had that compulsion to want to be a pet owner.
