I love animals, especially dogs but people who act like cats and rabbits are more important or even equal to human life make me sick

That's such an unreal and downright evil viewpoint to have, I can't help but think those who do are sheltered

I mean from a non-biased viewpoint they probably would be considered equal. And if were talking about from the view of nature or something more macro that just a humans viewpoint most animals would probably be considered more important since they arent actively destroying the environment for everyone around them.

So while Im not someone whos gonna pick a pet over a child I also think most arguments for why the child should automatically be picked without question are pretty stupid and dont make much sense.
