Unless that was their plan all along. Maybe they want PK to move out, so the others can move in. And maybe they have some money saved up and are taking like a month of paid vacation hoping PK moves out before then... And maybe they are doing this because they don't want or can't kick PK out. Or don't want to seem like a jerk. But can't put the new couple on the lease until he gone. Or something.
