Selphie is theoretically way better. Of course, that is dependent on the RNG actually giving you the win button...which has literally never happened for me across multiple playthroughs

the end shows up more frequently the higher her crisis level is which is an invisible stat in the game which affects limit breaks in some ways. if squall is at max crisis level he will do a finisher every time he uses his limit break
if not then then its less common

so using aura will not affect her crisis level and will make the end much harder to get
but if she is in single digit HP, with a negative status effect on her the RNG will throw out the end more often. its still rare but easier to get. but less likely she will survive long enough to use it
