It was the memory card. You payed 250-300 for the handheld it's self. Then you had a expensive memory card on top of it with very little storage space. I got one at launch and got my moneys worth because I never had a psp. They just priced themselves out of the market. The starting line up was actually pretty decent. They just dropped it after the first year like nothing. That is Japanese companies though. If it doesn't do great in their country they will just cut off their nose to spite their face.
