I can't imagine anyone spending more than $50 on a phone.
Because you grew up in a time before technology, right?
I've always been fascinated by technology. I built my first video game for oscillocope display in 1961.
I always have more hobbies and interests than I can really afford. A phone is a really low priority appliance, like a toaster-oven, it just needs to work, the cheaper the better. Cars, planes, golf, martial arts weapons, yes, worth spending money on.
While I wouldn't spend $1,500 on a phone, more than $50 is fine. It's like a mini computer without having to drag a laptop around and finding someway to connect to the internet. You can also use it to connect a laptop to the internet. Or system. Like the Switch...
Only way im paying more than 50 on a phone is if its one designed to be extra durable and they do make them and they still aint no where near 1500. Think my step father paid 300-400 bucks for his. Its a good phone too he has zero problems spiking it off thr floor like a football to show its durability when hes recommending it to someone.
His first one did get a cracked screem after like 5 years though but it fell from a laddaer like 12 feet screen first on the corner of a metal panel box. It still works though.
I feel like a $50 phone might be useless for the most part for me. At least, for what I use it for. I mean, unless they have some really good ones for $50. Even then, Im dont mind paying more. Like I said, $1,500 is out of the question. But a couple hundred isnt too bad... ---
