I don't understand what goes through these people's minds that they think this behavior is acceptable. You're protesting something, which means you want the public to support you. Are you so bonkers that you don't realize this is going to make everyone hate you and go against whatever it is you're trying to achieve?

It doesn't matter that there are other roads. Once you're there, you're stuck. All the lanes were backed up a long way.

Serious answer: they have a severe narcissism complex. They are convinced that everyone else is equally as concerned with their problems as they are. That's why they attempt to ostracize and dehumanize anyone who doesn't fit neatly into their alt left cookie cutters.
