You can get all the info on Netflix's, Abducted in Plain Sight, but to make a long story short - Berchtold was the next door neighbor to a family with 3 [?] young girls, and he becomes obsessed with the 12-year old one and ends up kidnapping her - twice. It's a really fucked up story all around, but she too ended up falling in love with her kidnapper for a brief time because he had her convinced that the two of them had to make babies together since she was from outer space The Dear Zachary documentary upset me.
