Maybe they should be. I didn't list murder as not all murderers are bad. Self defence for example.

Not all killings are murder. Self defense is not murder.

And no, those other crimes shouldn't be. They're bad, but no where near the level of murder. The only non-murder crime I'd add to the list of capital punishment crimes would be grievous torture (which the victim may have survived). Maybe also attempted murder, in very very rare instances.
