You quantify it via "I'd like a bowl/plate/etc. of" I mean if I said I'd like a bowl of Sloppy Joes (or Sloppy Joes in a bowl, whichever) you'd know what I was asking for you might look at me weird but you'd know and you probably wouldn't put the bun in there with it but who knows you might --- ...
